As per reports, the golf club was immediately locked down. The New York Post in its report said that two people exchanged gunshots outside the golf club of former President Trump in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The incident comes two months after an assassination attempt on Donald Trump during his campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks had fired multiple shots at Trump at the rally in Butler on July 13 and one of the bullet hit past former President’s ear. One rally attendee had died in the incident.
Trump had posted on social media shortly after the attack, “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. Much bleeding took place.”
